Terms of Service

AIConscius is for use in a business or profession: companies, organisations, sole traders and professionals, including a business you are still setting up. It is not offered to consumers for private use.

When you create an account or choose a paid plan, you confirm that you use AIConscius for your business or profession, existing or planned, and not as a consumer for private purposes. Do not choose a paid plan if you would use AIConscius privately. If you act on behalf of a business, you also confirm that you may bind it to these terms.

It is not legal advice. We are not a law firm and no lawyer-client relationship arises from your use of it.

It is not a certification or conformity assessment body. Nothing it produces certifies that you comply with the AI Act or any other law, and it must not be presented to a client, an auditor or an authority as if it did.

Its output is decision support. You, or someone you appoint, review it and decide: a finding stays a proposal until you confirm or reject it in the app, and obligations and generated documents are drafts until you have checked them. You remain responsible for the conclusions you rely on and for the advice you give your own clients. For decisions with significant legal consequences we recommend involving a lawyer.

It covers parts of these laws, not all of them. A scan only sees what is publicly visible; what it does not find may still be there.

The Free plan costs nothing and has no time limit. Paid plans and their prices are shown on the plans page and at checkout. You pay in advance, monthly or yearly, by card through our payment provider Stripe. The subscription renews automatically for the same period until you cancel.

Prices are shown excluding VAT. Customers in another EU country who give a valid VAT number pay no VAT (reverse charge); everyone else pays VAT as the law requires, calculated at checkout. You receive a receipt or invoice for every payment.

The Growth trial lasts 14 days and needs a card. If you do not cancel before it ends, the first payment is taken; we remind you three days before.

You can cancel at any time in Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you paid for; you keep access until then and then move to the Free plan. Payments are not refunded, also not for the rest of a period after you cancel, downgrade or delete your account. This does not apply to an amount we charged in error, where we end your plan ourselves (see Termination), or where mandatory law requires a refund. The Free plan is there to try AIConscius before you pay.

When you move to a plan that costs more per month, the change takes effect at once: the unused part of your current period is credited against the new plan and you pay the difference at once. A credit is not paid out. When you move to a plan that costs less per month, or from yearly to monthly billing, the change takes effect at the end of the period you paid for; until then you keep your current plan.

We announce price changes at least 30 days in advance; they apply from your next period. If a payment fails and is not settled after the payment provider's retries, your account moves to the Free plan.

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for decisions you or your clients take on the basis of an assessment, including where you or someone you appoint approved it.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including Swedish law, including for intent or gross negligence.

You can stop using AIConscius and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, after a warning where that is reasonable; you then get no refund.

We may also stop offering AIConscius, or end your paid plan for another reason, by telling you by e-mail at least 30 days in advance. You keep access until the end date. If you paid for time after that date, we refund that part pro rata to the card you paid with.

Before your account is closed you can export your data; we tell you what we must keep by law and for how long.
